2024 Honda Prologue Price, Pictures, Concept – For the 2024 model year, Honda and General Motors will introduce the Prologue, an all-electric vehicle. Honda has not yet disclosed any specifics about the car, but we assume the 2024 Honda Prologue will be a small or midsize SUV. The next-generation Japanese automaker’s electric car will be dubbed the Honda Prologue. Although the brand was slow to accept EVs, the Prologue will be an SUV with the same ruggedness and characteristics as the current model.
Additionally, they will utilize the newest version of the Super Cruise hands-free driving assistance system, as Honda is a shareholder in General Motors’ Cruise division. The Japanese market will soon see the debut of new electric vehicles based on Honda’s e: Architecture platform after introducing these two crossovers based on GM architecture.

2024 Honda Prologue Redesign
For all their mechanical similarities, the upcoming electric vehicles from General Motors and Honda will be vastly different. The inside and exterior styles of these vehicles will be decided by the design studios of each individual automaker. According to Honda’s Los Angeles design studio, the 2024 Honda Prologue will be developed to fulfill North American customer expectations. We don’t currently know anything about these Honda-focused cars. There are two possibilities here: either a three-row, large family utility vehicle tailored to the needs of North American consumers or a two-row car designed to appeal to a broader range of consumers.
For the time being, nothing is known about the Honda Prologue 2024. We only know for sure that certain aspects of the car will be designed by Honda. So, while the mechanics will come from GM, the remainder of the vehicle will be the product of Honda engineers.
We expect to see a standard SUV layout, as that’s the most popular body shape in today’s automobile sector. While a midsize crossover is unlikely, we can’t rule out a compact crossover for the upcoming model. In any event, we count on an entirely new appearance, which should define Honda’s new design language, which will be used for additional EV cars in the future.
The inside is a total mystery right now. We don’t know about the dashboard-style and overall cabin arrangement. Even yet, we expect Honda will stick to its tried-and-true approach of keeping things basic and straightforward. Still, we would surely expect to see a whole load of the latest tech advancements. There should be two rows of seats and a total of five seats in the cabin. The passenger space won’t be compromised since the battery will be positioned under the floor.
These two electric crossovers will be built on General Motors’ BEV3 design. These vehicles will be made in GM plants, despite their unique exterior and interior designs and a different setup from the American firm’s models. They will share mechanical organs because both vehicles are powered by Ultium family battery packs and the motor’s latest technology.
2024 Honda Prologue Engine
Honda claims that the future will see 100 percent electric cars by 2040. It was announced last year that the corporation would be carbon-neutral by 2050. The Ultrium batteries used in future GM EVs like the Cadillac Lyriq and GMC Hummer EV will be used in the upcoming 2024 Honda Prologue battery-electric vehicle. The Prologue will have a 100-kWh battery that is identical to the Lyriq. It will now have a maximum range of about 300 miles.
As previously stated, the drivetrain and battery in the new 2024 Honda Prologue will be based on GM technology. As a result of Ultium’s ability to use various battery capacities, the arrangement is virtually limitless. Still, we think that the battery would be the same as for the Lyriq, which is about to emerge with a 100-kWh battery back. That would provide the max range of at least 300 miles. Of course, several sorts of charging alternatives will be offered, including a fast-charging option.
2024 Honda Prologue Price and Release Date
The Prologue will go on sale in 2024, as planned. We anticipate learning more about the new model far sooner than 2023, when it is scheduled to make its public debut. Honda has not yet provided price information or trim levels for the Prologue. However, we expect it to begin at $45,000 and rise to $55,000 overtime.
